Mitchell A Cobaugh

General Superintendent

Mitch started his construction career in the mechanical subcontracting world. This early experience also included electrical work, underground site work, and infrastructure. His general contracting work began many years ago as an Assistant Superintendent, then he was promoted to a field superintendent, and then a General Superintendent with SouthLand. The majority of Mitch’s project work over his 35 year career in the general contracting industry has involved hospital/medical office building/healthcare work along with a variety of other commercial projects (schools, churches, labs, assisted living, etc.).

Away from SouthLand, Mitch enjoys personal time spent with his wife Nichol, his son “Goose”, and his two chocolate Labs, Reese and Lilly. He loves to travel with his family and friends. Ad he loves to golf, hunt, and be a part of any sporting event that he can find.

Why SouthLand?
"Clay Stacker and the management team at Southland care deeply about everyone on the team; from the guys in the field putting the project together with their hands, to the field leadership, all the way back thru every employee in the office. SouthLand has some of the hardest working field personnel that I have even seen in all of my years in the construction industry. And those 'field guys' are the quintessential 'where the rubber meets the road' kind of team that you need to excel in our industry."
